Eowyn looked up from her studies. Nope, the common room was still fairly empty. It was an odd time of the day, and the weather was nice outside, so it was understandable that most people were outside. And while she didn't mind going outside, she had a Potions essay to finish, and several research studies to complete. Of course she was going to have to spend a whole weekend in the library for those, but it didn't mean that she couldn't start her brainstorming now with the couple of books that she currently have. And yet, piled within those class books was a book of leisure from her home back with her parents. And it happened to be that book that she planned to open now. It was always fun to see how muggles imagined magical worlds. Some authors chose a scientific route, others did not even bother with it.

Muggles. It still felt strange to her to call them that, considering she herself had grown up in that life for so long. And it seemed fairly obvious to her that she still was having a hard time adjusting. It was just such a new world. And most of the students at Hogwarts had years and years of being a part of a magical family, learning all there was to learn before they were even in the school. She constantly felt like she had to catch up. And that was frustrating.

Quickly looking around to make sure that nobody was watching her, Eowyn put her feet up on the table in front of her. She was lounging on a couch, but enjoyed stretching out--something that was very forbidden at her own home. If her mother could see her now.... well she would have just a few words. She wasn't sure if it was ill mannered, here where they were in a room filled with students, who probably didn't care. She wasn't about to move unless someone of authority said so.

Her face engrossed in her book (which was not one of her school ones....), Eowyn did not notice that she was no longer alone in her quiet corner of the common room.
